Aunt Mary’s Greek Cookies
 Ingredients 
1 cup butter – softened (2 sticks)
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
Steps
- Mix together butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
 - In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
 - Slowly pour the powder ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix together until the dough is very stiff.
 - Put the dough on a large cutting board and knead well.
 - Refrigerate dough for 2 hours.
 - Make twists and put on cookie sheets (ungreased).
 - Bake on pre-heated 350-degree oven for 15 minutes.
 
Makes about 50-55 cookies.
